The Bonzer project took a back seat to kids, and just plain making a living. We got heavily involved in our kids’ activities. Looking back, the 90′s seem to have gone by in a heartbeat. That said, I can’t think of a more rewarding way to spend ten years. Stepping outside of the surf centric world and interacting with kids and parents from many walks of life is a healthy experience.
Through all of it, we still managed to keep an eye on the ball by getting in a few surfs and staying focused on how far we’d come and how far the ‘mission’ still had to go. This was also the period when a second generation of close friends helped us keep things moving forward.
