Mike Short

The Short brothers and the Campbell Brothers. In some ways it was like four brothers from the same family. This friendship helped take the Bonzer to a whole new level.

Russ is one of the most talented surfers ever. His bottom turns, tube riding, and cut backs demonstrated the capabilities and potential of the Bonzer. He utilized everything the design had to offer.

Mike is a good surfer and was always keen on working together with us on designing his boards: he really liked to get into it. And just like in the movies, every tribe had a musician. That was Mike.
