The trip to Portugal this summer went extremely well. While I was there, I worked at Manila Surfboard Designs. We built a lot of Bonzers, which were all custom orders. It was actually pretty humbling to experience such a high degree of interest and enthusiasm, in a far off land. Manila and his right hand man, Helder, do wonderful glass work. As you can see in the photos, the boards came out great.
There is much more to report about my summer ‘migrant foam worker’ journey to England, France and Portugal. Once I receive the photos of the finished boards from England, I’ll post a glimpse of the Bonzer Revolution in Europe.
Peace,
Malcolm
